How to Play Drop a Fruit — Roll, Place, Drop, Upgrade
Drop a Fruit gameplay loop explained: roll fruits, place them on your plot, drop them into the hole for coins, then upgrade tool, roll speed and capacity.
Drop a Fruit (Together Studios, launched May 2026) is an incremental simulator built around one loop: roll → place → drop → upgrade. It plays on mobile, tablet, PC and console.
The core loop
- Roll for fruits. The roll is gacha-style — outcomes range from common produce (one creator rolled garlic on their first spin) to pets and monsters. Better rolls come as you upgrade.
- Place fruits on your plot. Placed fruits sit on your land generating income over time.
- Drop them into the hole. Carry fruits to the hole and drop them in for coins. Your tool carries up to 5 fruits at once and has a throw feature — no need to fetch one by one.
- Collect coins and upgrade. Coins fund tool upgrades, roll speed, plot capacity and shop items — which speed up the whole loop.
The tutorial, step by step
The in-game tutorial walks you through exactly this: spin the roll → place the result → throw it in the hole → collect the payout → buy your first upgrades. After that it nudges you toward capacity upgrades (the rabbit plot slot) and the shop.
What to upgrade
- Tool — more carry capacity (starts at 5) and the throw feature. Your main time-saver.
- Roll speed — faster gacha spins, more fruits per minute.
- Capacity — more fruit slots on the plot (starts at 10 on the rabbit slot).
- Shop skills — magnet (auto-collect radius) and shoes (movement speed).
Details and priority order: upgrade priorities.
Rebirth
The game has 8 rebirth levels (badge API, added September 17, 2026). Rebirthing resets the grind for permanent multipliers — the exact reward table is still being verified and will be added once confirmed.
Tips
- Redeem
update1first — free coins before you start. - Keep fruits placed while you farm; placed income ticks even while you are busy rolling.
- Check the fruit list to know what the top tier looks like before you spend.
